When you register for an account, we may collect:
- Name (first name, last name)
- Email address
- College or company affiliation
- Professional role
- Payment information (processed securely through our payment partner; we do not store your card details)
3.2 Session Data
When you run a session in the Service, we collect and store:

- Transcribed text of audio captured during a session, in order to generate the AI assistance and your post-session report

- Device information and operating system version

Sessions are tied to your account and visible only to you. We do not share session content with other users or use it to train any third-party model.
3.3 Resume Data
If you choose to upload your resume for practice session personalization, we store this data in your account. You may delete your resume data at any time through your account settings.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process your subscription and payments

- Improve and personalize your practice experience
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
- Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the Service
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
5. Data Processing and AI
Glimp uses artificial intelligence to provide real-time assistance during a session. Key aspects of our data processing:
- Audio captured during a session is transcribed in real time so the AI can respond to what is being said. Raw audio is not stored on our servers.
- Screen captures you trigger during a session are sent to our AI processing partner for analysis. They are used to generate a single response and are not retained on our servers after the response is returned.
- Transcribed text, your questions, and the AI's responses are stored in your account so we can show you a session report. You can delete this data at any time.
- We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your session content to train any AI model.
- The Service is hidden from screen-sharing and screen-recording software on supported platforms — the other party to your conversation cannot see what Glimp shows you.
5a. Your Responsibility for Audio Recording
Because Glimp transcribes audio from your conversation, you are responsible for complying with any law in your jurisdiction that governs the recording or processing of conversations — including, where applicable, the obligation to inform the other party. You acknowledge that you have legal authority to process the audio of any session you start.
6. Data Storage and Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. Your data is stored on secure servers provided by our infrastructure partners. While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. These providers fall into the following categories:

Each provider has its own privacy policy and security practices. We only share data with them to the extent necessary to deliver the Service to you, and we contractually require them to handle your data with appropriate care. You may request the current list of named providers at any time by emailing support@goglimp.com.
7a. International Data Transfers
Glimp is built and operated by JDB Infotech Pvt. Ltd., a company based in India. We rely on appropriate legal mechanisms — including standard contractual clauses and the providers' own certifications — to safeguard cross-border transfers.
Account, profile, and session data is stored on infrastructure located in India where commercially reasonable, to support data localization for our Indian users.
